Yeah. He was switched to the girls side. He could of stayed because Donald seemed like he wanted to fire two other girls. But Gene brought Omarosa back because he wanted to debate her and send her home but Donald fired Gene.
Show will be boring now.

From everything I've heard and read, Biggie, it seems that the consensus is that Nely should have been fired. Apparently, Trump did everything but come right out and tell Simmons to bring Nely back to the boardroom because she was who he wanted to fire, but like you said, Simmons brought back Omarosa and Jennie. Some are also saying that they think that Simmons wanted to get fired on purpose since he has already made his contribution to his charity and now he can get back to his life.

There seems to be mixed reactions by people to Simmons just like there was with Dick Donato. People either love him or hate him, and some are happy that he's gone while others now think the show will be a snore.

There's an encore presentation of Celebrity Apprentice on tonight at 8:00 PM and again at 11:00 PM on CNBC. I'm going to watch it and see what happened.

Donald did want to fire Nely and he did do everything but come right out and say it. But I honestly think that Gene wanted to save both of the girls that Donald wanted to send home. He said he thought they would be good, and that he would hire them, and Donald said well maybe you will get that chance. And after he fired him Gene was really good about it. To be honest he was the main reason I was watching the show I thought he made it interesting. But I don't like Omarosa either and Donald seems to really adore her.

Okay, I just finished watching the encore presentation on CNBC, and I was laughing so hard at Alec Baldwin when he said that there's no one more full of crap than his brother, Stephen. True dat!

I think Trump did the right thing in firing Simmons. Even though Nely wouldn't shut up and let the Kodak executives talk during their initial meeting, Simmons should have been there as the project manager, but of course, he didn't go once again because he's just so darn stubborn. Of course, he probably wouldn't have done any better w/the Kodak executives because he would have told them they were wrong, he was right, they should be fired, and he should be the CEO of Kodak.

I'm going to miss Simmons on the show, though. When he stated that he is a benevolent dictator, the king of all women ( ) and that the women don't have a popcorn fart's chance of shining the men's shoes, I was literally laughing out loud. He sure is a character and very entertaining.

Well, Biggie, the men of Hydra reign supreme again this week. It was soooooooo close, though. Only a $2,000 difference. Marilu Henner did such a great job as project manager of Empresario, too. Drats! I really thought the women would pull it off.

I knew Trump would fire Jennie. I felt badly for her. She's such a nice person, but the corporate world just isn't her thing. She's extremely uncomfortable in that environment. She handled herself well, though, and I really don't think she's all that sad to leave.

Omarosa was so rude to Vinny during their Broadway show negotiations. I don't know which one I would like to see leave more -- Omarosa or Stephen Baldwin. Neither one of them know how to keep their mouths shut.

Piers Morgan did a fantastic job in securing $10,000 from Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Airlines. Piers did look kinda dorky in his knight's outfit, but he did what he had to do to win, so you gotta give him credit for that. Bummer that Nely's contact got stuck in traffic since that was the difference maker.

Poor Trace Adkins... Kept approaching people on the street to sell Broadway tickets to who didn't speak English. He's just so sweet, adorable and sexy. He's out of his element, but he keeps hangin' in there. I was actually hoping he would play bouncer between Baldwin and Piers Morgan.

The previews for next week's epi look good. It looks like Vinny might be getting his mob on.

Celebrity Apprentice renewed, will return in 2009

The Celebrity Apprentice has been renewed by NBC, and the show’s eighth season and the second celebrity season will debut next January, in 2009.
It will follow the same format as the first celebrity season, and “will once again bring business-savvy celebrity contestants together working towards a greater goal — all celebrities will be competing in business driven tasks around New York City, using their fame along with their proven business acumen, and perhaps, their wealthy and high profile connections for an assist in winning challenges,” according to an NBC press release.
NBC VP Craig Plestis said in a press release, “This revved up installment of ‘The Apprentice’ has been a game changer for the series. … There’s no other show like it to prove your business brain and we are already getting calls from high-profile celebrities who want to challenge themselves in Season 2.”
Executive producer Mark Burnett said, “Everywhere I go, people come up to me and ask about ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ Viewers are clearly connecting, but beyond the terrific ratings, it’s really the charities who are winning the most. Our celebrities have raised over a million dollars to date. We are so glad NBC has decided to continue this franchise.”
The current season will conclude with a live finale March 27 at 9.

Biggie, I hope you're going to watch Celebrity Apprentice tonight so you can tell me what happened and who got the boot. I'm going to be watching two hours worth of LOST and won't be able to catch Celebrity Apprentice tonight.

I caught the last hour of Apprentice because I was watching Lost as well and Apprentice was 2 hours.

Vinny quit, you really have to watch the replay to understand what happened. It gave me a headache but made for some decent drama.
